Company Overview

Middle East Battery Company (MEBCO) is a joint venture between Johnson Controls International that owns 49% share and prominent Saudi investors (Zamil Group, Al-Mutlaq Group, Abdullatif Al-Issa, Al-Jomaih Holding Co., & SASCO) being 51%; engaged in manufacturing automotive sealed maintenance free batteries. MEBCO is located close to sea port dammam 2nd industrial city, Saudi Arabia. MEBCO is the largest lead acid battery manufacturer in the Arab world started production in January 1998 with today’s capacity of 5,500,000 battery per year. MEBCO manufactures automotive batteries for American, Japanese, Korean, and European models of vehicles. Mebco also offers a full line of Industrial, Heavy Duty and Marine Batteries. Our Existing distribution network is across the globe, covering the GCC, Middle East, USA, China, EU and African markets. Mainly we serve the Aftermarket, OEM & OES customers.
